A new version of notepad++, an open source alternative of default windows notepad , has been published. If you want to have a notepad that can support extensions, download it... Some of the extensions are TextFX, Spell Checker and Doc Monitor.

However its ability is not limited to just extensions. It supports drag and drop for opening files. Also with multi-tabs feature, you can manage many subjects. In new version, 5.4.3 some bugs are fixed. ( As every uptade say :p )
