New display standarts (720p 1080p) are rapidly settling in our lives. We are able to find our favourite tv shows in these formats without a difficulty. Besides, once i have seen the good quality, i really don't want to watch in lower one. That's a bit bad because high-quality ones are not also take much time to download, but also takes big space in harddisks.

Watching HD (High Definition) videos on pc is sometimes hard for low-level computers especially at playing 1080p. I also have a computer that is not high-end and have some troubles watching 1080p videos. I used many codecs and players to manage playing smoothly these kind of videos. Finally, i succeded in this.

I tried many media players like windows media player, BS player, Winamp, VLC media player etc. However, I think the best is Media Player Classic. If you had used older versions of Windows, for example 98, it must be familiar to you. The software has a truly user-friendly interface. Subtitles can be installed just with drag and drop function. Videos can be stopped and played with just a click on the screen. Apart from these, it can run high definition videos better than other softwares. You can download this free software from www.free-codecs.com You can also download many codecs here. I advice K-Lite codec pack.
